If you know this corner of kent you will know the massive concrete struture called the Apron.
The Apron was built post war to stop the sea giving the white cliffs such a battering and to help prevent landslides. The massive Apron is starting to show its age now with many parts having broken or being slowly warn away by the relentless sea pounding it. In this image im standing on one small part of this concrete mega struture just as a wave hits the wall below.
